What is FileFire Express
FileFire Express is an indispensable FileMaker plug-in that improves the way you import and reference external files. Link files to FileMaker data the way you always wanted. FileFire Express Function Overview
- List items of any folder or volume in FileMaker
- Show file attributes like name, icon, size, creation and modification timestamps
- Retrieve advanced attributes of items such as folder size and volume capacity
- Have users specify external files or folders using system dialogs and retrieve selected paths in ScriptMaker
- Import or reference all items of a specific folder (including office documents and other files)
- Batch export files or references from container fields into user specified folders (requires FileMaker 8 or later)
- Launch any external file from FileMaker together with its parent application
