If you downloaded the latest trial package from this web site you can be sure to use the latest version of FileFire Advanced.
Which Version Do I Use?
To find out the exact version of FileFire Advanced you are using check the result returned by the plug-in function FFire_GetVersion. You can also get this information from the file version info. On Mac locate the plug-in file in the Finder and press Cmd+I. On Windows locate the plug-in file in the Explorer, right-click it and choose Properties. You will find the version information on the Version tab.
